First Left 4 Dead Match

Last night MajorGibs had its first official match. No sooner had we joined the GameBattles L4D ladder, than we got a challenge from the first place team, Last Man Standing whom we helped to a perfect 7-0 record. ;]

Seriously, though, these guys were amazingly good as you might expect and of course we took the loss. It wasn't terribly close, but we did manage to shut them down on NM3 (only to be stopped by them even sooner on our go), which was rewarding. LMS is totally a class act by the way, and we would gladly play them again anytime.

420, BeatDown, Officer and I all played and we got quite an education (and some great demos to watch later). I'm extremely proud of how each team member conducted himself before, during, and after the game. We gave them our best possible game and we didn't take the loss personally. If anything, I think it motivated us all to get better. To that end, we got some really nice encouragement from LMS after the match.
