eBook Prices

Talk about anything and everything

WTF happened to them?

I was going through one of my email accounts that gets more junk (approved junk you could say), and I saw an email from B&N.

I saw an author I like and clicked the link.

$15 for the book in hardcover.

$13 for the ebook version.

No printing overhead, no warehousing overhead, no distribution overhead, no retail space overhead... and it is only $2 cheaper than the hardcover?

Are they insane?

Yeah, I think the deals are a little better on Amazon. Closer to 70% of printed book I think.

Plus, I like that I can read Kindle anywhere. Shit, I don't even OWN a kindle. Just basically read on my phone and sometimes on the PC.
peace,
-p.
