oh well, i will play it, I know I will.

I'm sure most of us will try it at least once.

I'm holding hope that its late because they decided to add more stuff to it ... not because they've been too slow to get it tested. But since Doug has suddenly become hard to communicate with (usually not a problem) I can only guess.

Call me crazy, but I have no faith anymore. If anything good comes out of Valve I will be pleasantly surprised, but I am not holding my breath or pinning any hopes on them for the future.

Yeah, I didn't mean to sound as negative as I sounded. I have never been a fan of singleplayer FPS's. I meant multiplayer. I was very dissappointed in HL2DM and I just can't imagine anything measuring up to the original HLDM.

There are a lot of great games out there, so it's not like we don't have plenty to do. I am just not hopeful that Valve can put out a multiplayer deathmatch game that would be interesting to someone like me who isn't normally a FPS fan. I hope I am wrong.
