So, I have been interested in Dungeons and Dragons Online since it was announced and have been a member of the official DDO forum community since the day the forums were opened. Because I was onboard early, I thought I would get to beta test it

Have seen that happen with several betas actually.
You sign up for the forum the day it goes live. You are active on it.
Time comes for beta and . . .
There are priority beta giveaways for people that are registered with this or that site . . .
The people that have been on the forums and active end up in the third to fourth wave of testers . . .
Then there are the closed open testers that get in from pre-orders . . .
I know a guy in the DDO beta, will have to ask him if he got in via the IGN thing . . .
The more they talked about DDO and the farther away the launch date got though, the less interested I was in the game . . .

Yeah, the game is sounding less and less interesting as development goes on. Everyone is still under the NDA, but the whispers I hear are that the game is a lot of work and not enough fun/diversity. We'll see I guess.
