Man, I haven't seen you in-game in ages! I play HL2DM about once or twice a week. I'm not too heavy into it, but my brother and I play a bit (he's "Crowbar Boy"). Being that was your first HL2DM experience, I know it's gotta be a little frustrating not having binds and setting all hooked up.
Here's my config file below. I've got all my setting adjusted to the lowest possible, even lower than you can do by using the in-game menu. It really helps you frames-per-second, and makes the game much smoother. Look this over, and if it helps you, GREAT!
