I'm not sure exactly what happened during last night's practice... I wasn't there. But I do have a request of everyone.
If you are going to participate in a practice, you need to plan to stay for all 5 maps. It becomes really tough in Left 4 Dead to reorganize things if people drop. Also, right now we are usually having to invite people to round out 8 players. These people might be (like in last night's case) prospective recruits. In either case, they are people we hope will continue to come to our rescue when we're short-handed. If we can't set an example and play through the game, these folks aren't going to want to take time out of their schedule to help us out.
We've all been through the frustration of being in a game and having it fall apart because people decide not to stay to the end. So let's not be those guys. I'm not pointing any fingers because like I say - I wasn't there. I don't know who left in what order and I don't want to know. We're trying to be as flexible as we can about practicing and still being productive so we can get better. We're mostly all tired of pub stomping and want to play in a more organized fashion so we can have quality games. In order to do that, we need to be reliable.
So please help us out. We understand things come up. Find a replacement, do what you can. We're all in this thing together guys.
Thanks.
