The Disappointing World of MMORPGs . . .

I find myself in a quandary. I gave up WoW for many reasons, and I refuse to go back. I did the AutoAssault beta and did the preorder for the game. The server populations disappeared at launch. I got the feeling the game was going to die (it still lives). One of the other games I had been looking at was RF Online. I installed the 10 day trial. I cannot stand the playerbots. There is KSing out the wahzoo, making it all but impossible to complete quests without spending 5-10 times the duration to do it. I may end up going back to EVE Online. I have made the mistake of going back to CoH a few times, and it always ends the same - boredom. I should have been playing DDO, but the beta for it was so damn awful I did not even finish beta before uninstalling the game. Other games I have enjoyed are dying too or already dead. Other games look to be a year away or more.

Oh well, enough pity party for now . . .
