Photography

So, I was thinking about doing some digital photography. I was thinking normal objects in abnormal backgrounds. The easiest way seemed to be a green/bluescreen sort of thing. I found this article http://homepage.mac.com/geerlingguy/jef ... creen.html, and I was wondering if anybody who is in to photography in any way had any ideas on the contents of the article, I was looking at the pricing on some of the muslin/stands etc, and I nearly crapped my pants.
