Yeah, it was my dumbass move to go into the instance without finishing the Traitor quest... so when VC died I got the letter but not his head. My bad totally... but since it was fun I don't mind doing it again with a group.

Here is my theory about instances. As long as you have gone though once with a group your level, I don't see any problem being "dragged" though by a high level toon. Ekaw should be able to get you though there in 20-30 minutes... or I could if I ever play again.
