Ok, so no help on Lightscribe here, but I found what I needed and it is awesome. If you burn a lot of CDs or DVDs and get sick of making sticky paper labels or writing with a sharpie, you should definitely look into it.
For those unfamiliar, as I was, if you have a Lightscribe enabled drive (~$40) and Lightscribe media, you can "burn" a CD label into the disc itself. Apparently the CDs/DVDs have an additional, laser sensitive layer that allows this. The "label" is actually burned inside the disc, under the surface. You just burn the disc, flip it over in the drive and burn the label.
My burnt Grateful Dead shows are looking tons better these days.
