The remarkable thing is that it lasted this long... well that and the fact that I still hold a grudge against the bastards at SOE.

Here's my question though: Will we ever see a crafting/resource system to match SWG's?

Highly doubtful.

I don't remember who gave me my first harvester (was probably you, Ded), but it sure opened up a dimension of the game that was quite unexpected.

Oh, and Shikse having one of the only 20-point (or whatever) doctors on the server didn't hurt either...

Ah the days. You truly can't go home again...


(btw there are now only 13 SWG servers left)

13 Servers... and they are probably empty.

As more and more time passes, the crafting/resource/vending system is the only thing I really miss. The economy it created was rich and complex enough for anyone who wanted participate to find their niche. I loved the business I had going as an energy dealer. I even got to where I had subcontractors and was pulling in millions of credits each week. And the fact that you could put vendors in your home (or someone elses) actually made player housing matter... though it eventually blighted the landscape horribly...
