Blizzard has to love Gear Score. We all knew the game was just about chasing gear - I mean, everybody knows that and anybody that says otherwise is pretty much lying. The "end game" in WoW pretty much consists of the progression of upgrading gear (sure, that changes with Guild Leveling and all that in Cat - but for now and since release, it has been World of Gear). Now you have that nice little number to show your progression in an easy to see manner.
Will this give me more points, what gives me more points, need more GS points...arrrghghghghhh... yeah, whatever, lol.
Course, you have people spouting all these high GS for content they are way overgeared for...kind of sad. Like saying you need a Ferrari to go pick up milk from the convenience store because the BMW will not cut it...
Looted a shield off a random world mob that got me 4.5k in the AH - lol, most money I've had in the game. Cannot imagine paying 5k for the epic flying mount skill. I decided to buy the winter riding skill for a couple of my 70's guys at 1k a pop instead. Dual spec would be another 1k if I wanted to do that for any of the guys. I did not have problem with money in SWG with some effort, but in WoW - I've always been broke. I do not get how people are rolling in it - I mean that one mount is what 19k or so?
Somebody bought it out at 750g. Think the prices are back up in the 1000's at this point.
Some of the prices in the AH just seem retarded to me, trying to figure out how those people have that much and stuff.
I guess since I do not really do any of the crafting things, I do not have that "work" income in the game.
Got Tyrantalus to 80 yesterday and started the gearing thing with him, even though I had not finished getting Grimvald to that i245 range or so that I wanted to. With Children's Week, I just could not stand doing anymore BGs - people that had never done PvP were in there trying to get the School of Hard Knocks achievement with their orphans...bah. We only won when the Horde had more orphans than we did, lol.
I'm having a hard time seeing where I will be playing this game in a month or so - cause it will not take that long to finish gearing Grim, Tyr, nor to level and gear Ehd. Maybe if I level and gear my 47 Warrior, it might take that long?
