Sorry man. Been pretty busy with life lately and somehow missed this post. I've only had time to play through 2 scenarios or whatever they call them. It's definitely a fun, but I haven't been able to spend enough time to get very confortable with the game yet. I am still consistantly taking more damage than any of the bots, but I think that might be because they always hang behind me.

Like all single player FPS, I want to like it more than I actually do. Don't get me wrong, I like the game and I think it is very well made, but so was HL and HL2 and I never finished the sp in either of those games. As soon as I get the time, I need to try the playing online with pubs or you guys. Then I'll be able to judge better. The problem is that I don't see when I am going to get more time because in a couple weeks the kids start school, soccer, Girl Scouts, etc, etc, etc... /sigh

As a husband and father of two, I totally understand (my kids weren't always teenagers... good luck with that by the way). On the plus side of things, [doHTML]<a href="steam://friends/add/76561197967850053">add me</a>[/doHTML] the next time you log on to Steam, so when the stars align we can do a map or two together.

Yeah, heaven help me when these girls of mine are teenagers.

I can't blame my lack of playing all on them. I am still taking pain meds pretty regularly for my back, and they kill my attention span. So even on nights I have time to play, I've been losing my motivation very fast.

Oddly, I have been playing that kid's MMO, Wizard 101, more than just with my kids. It isn't a good game (unless you are under 12). The graphics suck. It is easy. It is slow. It is shallow. But it fits with my pitifully small attention span lately. I can play it and surf 5 things at the same time. LOL... what have I become? I'm a lazy old man.
